Dr Hossack graduated from The Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London in 2002. After spending 18 months working in Accident and Emergency and General Surgery in Jersey (Channel Islands), he started training as a Surgeon before switching to General Practice in 2007. He went on to complete his GP training in Devon and is now a Partner at a GP Practice in Totnes, a beautiful market town in South Devon.

Alongside his NHS practice he works as a GP Trainer, nurturing the GPs of tomorrow as they hone their skills in Primary Care. He has a special interest in Diabetes, Lifestyle Medicine and Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), having undertaken further training and qualifications in them. 

He has a broad range of knowledge in primary care and years of experience working as a partner in busy NHS General Practice. He prides himself on his patient-centred communication, involving the patient in the decision-making process and providing high quality clinical care across all age groups.

He lives in South Devon with his wife who is an NHS Nurse and 2 teenagers who are sport mad (football and netball). He spends most of his free time driving them to training and matches and playing a bit of tennis himself!
